Distribution
[edit | edit source]Leivanectes remains have been found in the fossiliferous Paja Formation of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, which crops out near Villa de Leyva, also written as Villa de Leiva, Boyaca, Colombia. The genus name refers to Villa de Leiva.[1]
