Over the years, multiple video game character articles were either redirected, merged, or deleted due to a lack of proven independent notability. For the latter two sections, this is an inexhaustive list of merge discussions and AfDs that resulted in character-relevant articles being merged, redirected, or deleted. The former category chooses 2019 as a cutoff for listing due to this year representing a ramp up of redirection of content. All editors are allowed to add any article redirected, merged, or deleted via AfD or talk page merge discussion, and any redirects of former articles that took place in 2019 or after can be added. This index exists to document articles as well as provide the opportunity for deleted articles to be one day recreated if adequate significant coverage of the subject is found in reliable sourcing. Existing draft pages and/or user draft pages can be added to the "Draft?" field to give readers the opportunity to contribute.
