[edit source]- We started with a reminder about what motivates this project. We watched this short doc about the Reagan White House’s response to questions about AIDS: http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2015/12/01/reagan_press_secretary_laughs_about_gay_people_dying_of_aids.html
- Also looked at this blog posting from some friends at the Grad Center that talks about the importance of open access information. This is why we are sharing the paywalled info we have access to with the world via Wikipedia - https://gclibrary.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2016/11/09/hiv-aids-and-being-a-scholar/
- Akampreet, Pia, Renne, Michael and Timur all worked on this draft doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yZF0l6iYhjh2t1OaH1Aoza7AXbf67bIaRsITWH8nlug/edit#. Each took a section and added it with citation to the new entry for the New York City AIDS Memorial.
