Joe Fonti (born 24 December 2004) is a professional Australian rules footballer for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL).
AFL career
[edit | edit source]Fonti was recruited by Greater Western Sydney with the 44th overall selection in the 2023 national draft.[1][2] He is the cousin of West Coast Eagles AFL Women's player Ella Roberts.[3]
Fonti debuted for GWS in round 17 of the 2024 AFL season in a 12-point win against Carlton.[4][5][6]
In round 20 of the 2025 AFL season, Fonti received a nomination for the 2025 AFL Rising Star.[7]
