Crocy (French pronunciation: [kʁɔsi] <phonos file="Fr-Paris--Crocy.ogg"></phonos>) is a commune in the Calvados department and Normandy region of north-western France. It is situated close to Falaise.

The name is believed to derive from the Gallo-Roman personal name Crossius.

Geography

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Les Cordiers, Le Coisel, La Croix Potier, Le Manoir, Vitreseul and Crocy.[2] The commune borders the Orne department.[2]

Three rivers run through the commune the Dives, La Filaine and La Gronde.[3][4][5]
