Ali Mohamad Kassas (Arabic: علي محمد قصاص; born 25 February 2003) is a Lebanese footballer who plays as a forward for Lebanese Premier League club Nejmeh and the Lebanon national team.
Club career
[edit | edit source]Starting his career with Nejmeh, Kassas was loaned out to AC Sporting in February 2022 for the remainder of the 2021–22 season.[2] He was released by Nejmeh in June 2023.[3] Kassas signed for Bourj as a free agent in June 2023.[4] One year later, in June 2024, Kassas signed a three-year deal with Safa.[5]
In August 2025, Kassas returned to Nejmeh ahead of the 2025–26 season.[6]
International career
[edit | edit source]Kassas played for Lebanon U18 at the 2021 WAFF U-18 Championship in Iraq, helping Lebanon finish runners-up.[3] He was called up to the under-23 team for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification,[7] contributing to the team's first-ever qualification for the final tournament.[8]
Kassas was first called up to the Lebanon national team in December 2024, ahead of two friendly matches against Kuwait.[9] He scored his first goal on 15 December 2024, in a 2–0 friendly win against Kuwait in his first match as a starter.[10]
