Umluj (Arabic: أملج) is a city and governorate located in the Tabuk Province of Saudi Arabia.[1][2][3]

Transportation

[edit | edit source]Although Umluj does not have its own airport, the governorate is served by the nearby Al-Wajh Domestic Airport,[4] located in the neighboring Al-Wajh Governorate. It offers flights to several major destinations within Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah, Riyadh, and Medina.

Visitors to Umluj can enjoy its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and coral reefs. There are also a number of shipwrecks around the island that make for excellent diving spots. For those interested in history, Umluj was once home to the ancient Kingdom of Lihyan. today, the island is a popular tourist destination and makes for a great place to relax and soak up the sun.
