The Familiar Stranger is a 2001 American drama television film directed by Alan Metzger. It stars Margaret Colin and Jay O. Sanders.[1]
Plot
[edit | edit source]It is based on the true story of Patrick Welsh,[2] happily married with 2 sons. But he has committed money fraud. Feeling the heat, he fakes his suicide and abandons his family. He is eventually found in Maine (Galveston, TX in real life).
