This template is used by Template:Year article header to compute Zeller's congruence to determine if a year is a common or leap year, a leap year being divisible by 4 and not divisible by 100, or divisible by 100 and 400, and to indicate which day of the week it starts on and the year type (exceptional, leap, or common).
