This is the WikiProject banner template used by WikiProject Kenya to keep track of articles within its scope. All articles are categorised into Category:WikiProject Kenya articles.

Basic usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

Full usage

It is usual to remove any unused parameters from the template call.

Parameters

• importance – see #Importance assessment below.
• category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.

Notes and alerts

• attention – set |attention=yes if the article needs immediate attention from experienced editors. Use only if another parameter does not cover the need for attention; this should be used sparingly. It is strongly encouraged to also add a section to the talk page explaining what needs attention. This parameter populates Category:Kenya articles needing expert attention.
• 10k – set |10k=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "This article was created or improved during the "African 10,000 Challenge", which started in 1 September 2016 and is still continuing. You can help!" This will populate Category:Articles created or improved during the WikiProject Africa 10,000 Challenge.
• destubathon – set |destubathon=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "This page was expanded or created as part of The Africa Destubathon, October/November 2016." This will populate Category:Articles improved during The Africa Destubathon.
• needs-photo – set |needs-photo=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "It is requested that an image or images be included in this article to improve its quality." This will populate Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Kenya.

Deprecated parameters

• listas – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. Please see Template:WikiProject banner shell for details.

This project uses the standard importance scale. Valid values are shown below.
