This is the WikiProject banner template used by WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography to keep track of articles within its scope. All articles are categorised into Category:WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography articles.

Basic usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

Parameters

• importance – see #Importance assessment below.
• category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.

Task forces

• serialkiller – set |serialkiller=yes if the article is supported by the Serial Killer task force. This parameter populates Category:Serial Killer task force. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Serial killer-related articles by quality based on the |class= parameter.
• serialkiller-imp – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to the Serial Killer task force. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Serial killer-related articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.
• organizedcrime – set |organizedcrime=yes if the article is supported by the Organized crime task force. This parameter populates Category:Organized crime task force articles. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Organized crime articles by quality based on the |class= parameter.
• organizedcrime-imp – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to the Organized crime task force. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Organized crime articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.
• terrorism – set |terrorism=yes if the article is supported by the Terrorism task force. This parameter populates Category:Terrorism task force articles. This parameter populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Terrorism articles by quality based on the |class= parameter.
• terrorism-imp – This parameter sets the importance of the article according to the Terrorism task force. It populates the relevant subcategory of Category:Terrorism articles by importance. See #Importance assessment for valid values.

Deprecated parameters

• listas – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. Please see Template:WikiProject banner shell for details.
