This template is the home of the default data structure for Video Game platforms used by the Module:VgData. This page includes the templating for the video game chart used for Platforms
For example, the code {{#invoke:VgData|main|ct=platform|col=3|DC|DS|GBA|GBC|Wii}} will output the following table:
Each parameter must be pipe-separated, and should be listed immediately after {{#invoke:VgData|main|}}. Each parameter is in parameter=value notation. The following supported parameters are used by this template:
ct : This is used to select the type of table you want to create. This element will always be platform for this table type
col : This sets the number of column-pairs you want the table to use (setting this to 3 will create a 6 column table). If not included, this value defaults to 2
After all the parameters come the specific input terms you want to add to the table. The platform table has the most specific terms of the 3 table types. Each term must be pipe-separated, and should have the exact spelling, capitalization, and punctuation to ensure the module outputs correctly. All input terms can be seen in the table at the top of the page.
