This regional WikiProject user template creates a userbox that indicates that you actively participate in WikiProject Germany.
To join WikiProject Germany, add your username to Wikipedia:WikiProject Germany/Members.
Use
[edit source]If you place the Wikitext {{User WP Hesse}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:

If you place the Wikitext {{User WP Hesse|invite}} on your user page, this template will display the following userbox:
| File:Coat of arms of Hesse.svg | This user invites you to join WikiProject Hesse. |
Either of these will add your user page to the following two categories:
A nocat=true parameter may be used to inhibit the declaration of these categories.
