Template:Toolforge/doc

This template will allow you to create an interwiki link to a toolforge tool without having the icon following the link. This can be used, for example, when passing parameters that aren't supported by a [[toolforge:]] interwiki link.

Examples

• {{toolforge|ircredirect}} gives ircredirect.toolforge.org
• {{toolforge|ircredirect|IRC}} gives IRC

Note that if your url or link title contains an equals sign =, you must either replace it with {{=}} or use named parameters:

• {{toolforge|templatecount/?lang{{=}}en&namespace{{=}}10&name{{=}}Toolforge|Template Count}} gives Template Count
• {{toolforge|1=apersonbot/afchistory/?user=Example&max=500}} gives apersonbot.toolforge.org/afchistory/?user=Example&max=500
• {{toolforge|1=afdstats/afdstats.py?name=Example&max=500|2=AfD Stats}} gives AfD Stats
• {{toolforge|url=sowhy/afdcloses.php?chart=yes&user=urlencode:Example|name=AfC Closes}} gives AfC Closes

Template parameters

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.
