This map depicts operating conditions from 1913 to 1931. The Northwestern Elevated Railroad and the South Side Elevated Railroad were through-routed and operated on the Outer Loop track while the Metropolitan West Side Elevated Railroad and the Lake Street Elevated Railroad used the Inner Loop track.
