Usage notes
[edit source]- Place this on the article's talk page whenever an image of a symbol is needed.
- The template takes a single optional parameter—a description of what the image should illustrate.
- Adds page to Category:Wikipedia requested symbol images.
- If you are requesting a technical illustration (e.g. a graph), please provide as much reference data as possible.
Media request templates

Specific templates are indented under the more general templates, and wherever possible, the most specific template should be used.
