Purpose

This template tags Wikipedia articles that include public domain content from the Supreme Court of India. Judicial decisions and texts issued by the Supreme Court are considered public records under Indian law. See Appeal (Civil) 6472 of 2004.

Usage

Place this template at the top or bottom of any article or section that includes excerpts from Supreme Court of India judgments.

Example: This article incorporates text from judicial opinions and related texts from the Supreme Court of India. As a work of the Supreme Court, the text is in the public domain.
