This template is used to add pinyin ruby characters to Chinese characters.

Important note

This template should only be used for pinyin ruby characters. For bopomofo, please use {{ruby-zh-b}}. Otherwise, use the generic {{ruby}} with the {{lang}}, or {{ruby-ja}} for Japanese furigana characters.
