Template:Refideas editnotice
Description
Since November 2023, this template is automatically added to articles which have {{Refideas}} on their talk page, linking users to Template:Refideas on the article talk page, so that the user can be aware of the sources listed there.
Template:Editnotices/Namespace/Main displays this notice whenever there is a {{Refideas}} template at the talk page. Further information regarding its implementation can be found here.
Usage
This template is automatically applied whenever you are attempting to edit an article with {{Refideas}} on its talk page. Do not add it manually to any editnotice.
Troubleshooting and opting out
If the edit notice is not displaying, make sure that the associated article talk page does have a functioning {{Refideas}} template.
If you do not want this template to display in an editnotice, you can remove the Refideas template.
If you still want the Refideas template, but with no edit notice, change {{Refideas|...}} to {{Refideas-nonotice|...}}. This works because the edit notice only appears for the {{Refideas}} template, not any of its alternative names, such as {{Suggested sources}} or {{Refideas-nonotice}}. The latter is simply a redirect to {{Refideas}} and has the identical functionality, except the edit notice is not triggered. It is offered specifically for the use case where you want to turn off the editnotice, and signal this to fellow editors.
