• Project-level:
  • Locate pages that need attention, then add them to this tasks list.
  • Add Template:WikiProject Reenactment to the talk pages of related articles, by placing {{WikiProjectReenactment}} at the top of the talk page.
  • Help assess articles for quality and importance within this project.
  • Goals and scope need to be defined

• Major work needed:
  • List of historical reenactment groups needs work
  • Historical reenactment needs to be abstracted (currently focuses on American Civil War)
  • Authenticity (reenactment) needs to be expanded (currently focuses on less-authentic medieval reenactment)
  • Codex Belli needs an English summary of the basic ruleset
  • Living history needs to be expanded

• Articles to write:
  • Stone Age reenactment (might be just experimental archaeology)
  • Classical reenactment for Roman Empire, Ancient Greece
  • Dark Age reenactment (redirect to Medieval reenactment?)
  • Modern reenactment for 18th-20th century reenactment (American Civil War, Napoleonic Wars, World War II)
  • Articles for major reenactment groups? (What defines a "major" reenactment group anyway?)
  • Article about gunnery displays? Might be crossreferenced for details on black powder focused reenactment groups
  • Boer War reenacting is a new (and experimental) trend, primarily with mostly modern reenactors.

• Categories:
  • Category:American Civil War firearms is not generalized; there is only a Category:American Civil War rifles.
  • Need a category (and probably sub-categories) for manufacturers of reproduction weapons, such as U.S. Fire Arms Manufacturing Company.
