Template:OpenSanctions displays an external link to a page at OpenSanctions, an open database of sanctions and persons of interest data is intended for use in the external links section of an article of organisaions.

Using Wikidata

Generally, Wikidata should contain article subjects' OpenSanctions IDs in property (P3393), allowing the ID parameter to be omitted:
