Produces a cited reference to the Online Etymology Dictionary Web site for the specified word(s). To specify the date of retrieval, use the optional accessdate parameter with an ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD formatted date.
Example: {{OEtymD|camouflage|accessdate=2026-06-20}} produces:
