This template is used to generate an external link to a web page at Max.

Note: This template should only be added to programming original to Max or its predecessor HBO Max.

Usage

Unnamed parameters:

• {{Max title | ID }}
• {{Max title | ID | TITLE }}

Named parameters:

• {{Max title | id= ID }}
• {{Max title | id= ID | title= TITLE }}

Using Wikidata property (P8298):

• {{Max title}}
• {{Max title | title = TITLE }}

Instructions

1. Go to play.max.com and search for the title you want.
2. Click on the thumbnail for the title.
3. The page URL should look like this:

   https://play.max.com/show/...

   or

   https://play.max.com/movie/...

4. Copy the text that appears after https://play.max.com/ in the URL.
5. Add one of the following to the external links section of the article:

   {{Max title | XXXXX... }}

   {{Max title | XXXXX... | Title Name }}

   {{Max title | id= XXXXX... }}

   {{Max title | id= XXXXX... | title= Title Name }}

   ----- is the text you've copied and Title Name is the title of the movie or show.

Note: This is a list item in the external links section so you should add a "*" in front of the template.

1. Go to max.com and search for Doom Patrol.
2. Click on the link for Doom Patrol. The link's URL is:

   https://play.max.com/show/9ec0e921-f78f-42e9-a461-5237794afd78

3. Copy show/9ec0e921-f78f-42e9-a461-5237794afd78 and add it to the template.
