Template:Domain uses long/doc

Like {{duses}}, this template displays three links to search results for uses of a domain name across Wikipedia pages, but with wordier, configurable link text. It generates:

  1. an insource: search for the domain name
  2. an external links search for https:// and http:// URLs of the domain and its subdomains
  3. a Tool forge Spamcheck search for the domain name

Parameters

There is one required positional (unnamed) parameter, and four optional named parameters:

  • |1=domain name to be searched (required); e.g. example.com or subdomain.example.com
  • |src= – link text for the first link (optional; default: in source code)
  • |ext= – link text for the second link (optional; default: external links in articles)
  • |spam= – link text for the third link (optional; default: spamcheck tool)
  • |bullet= – precede each link with a bullet using leading asterisk markup; (optional; default: no bullet)
