Produces a cited reference to the Dictionary of the Irish Language (DIL), first published in separate fascicles between 1913 and 1975. A compact edition with continuous pagination was published in 1998. The dictionary was reproduced electronically, largely unrevised but with added search functionalities, in 2007 on http://www.dil.ie.

The template can be used as a stand-alone reference, or it can be used to cite one or several specific words, whether or not by letter and column.
