Usage
[edit source]- As of November 2025, IP editing is no longer used by English Wikipedia. The replacement, temporary accounts automatically expire 6 months after first use and accounts are never re-used.
This template can be used on IP user talk pages after removing old messages. It serves as a reminder that the talk page history should be checked for prior warnings and other messages.
As of December 2023[update] the VulpesBot bot blanks talk pages of IP accounts with no activity during the last five years, and then places this template.
Alternately, instead of removing old warnings from talk pages of unregistered users, use {{old IP warnings top}} and {{old IP warnings bottom}} to collapse the previous warnings, while keeping them easily expandable for review.
