Su Li-yang (Chinese: 蘇力揚; pinyin: Sū Lìyáng; born 27 December 2001) is a Taiwanese badminton player.[2][3][1]
Career
[edit | edit source]Su Li-yang's father Su Chih-ming was also a badminton player. Su Li-yang started to playing badminton when he was in the first grade of elementary school. Educated at the Datong High School, he had shown his potential as an excellent badminton player at several national and international tournaments. He also later studied at the University of Taipei.[4][5] In 2017, at the age of 16, he reached the semi-finals of the senior international tournament Sydney International.[6] He won his first international title at the 2018 Italian Junior International.[7] In 2019, he won the Mongolia Junior international, and later settled for the bronze medal at the Asian Junior Championships.[8] In 2022, he reached the finals of the Bonn International, Mongolia International and Bendigo International.

BWF World Tour (1 runner-up)
[edit | edit source]The BWF World Tour, which was announced on 19 March 2017 and implemented in 2018,[9] is a series of elite badminton tournaments sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF). The BWF World Tour is divided into levels of World Tour Finals, Super 1000, Super 750, Super 500, Super 300, and the BWF Tour Super 100.[10]
