Design
[edit | edit source]The Sovereign 26 is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass. It has a masthead sloop rig and a fixed fin keel. It displaces 3,200 lb (1,451 kg) and carries 1,000 lb (454 kg) of ballast.[1][2]
The boat has a draft of 2.17 ft (0.66 m) with the standard shoal draft keel.[1][2]
The design has a hull speed of 6.43 kn (11.91 km/h).[2]
