Sejal Kumar (born 1 January 1995), is an Indian YouTuber and video blogger.[1][2] She started her YouTube channel in February 2014, and as of May 2023, she has 1.45 million subscribers and over 332 million views. She recently[when?] released her first original song Aisi Hun in the project Creators for Change.[3][4]
Early life and education
[edit | edit source]Sejal Kumar did her schooling from The Mother's International school, New Delhi. After which she pursued a bachelor's degree in economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.[5][6]
Career
[edit | edit source]While on her first internship trip to Turkey, Kumar uploaded her first video called "summer style turkey".[5] Since then she has created more than 500 videos on her channel and gained 1M+ subscribers on her YouTube Channel.[7] Her videos are usually centered around fashion, skits, singing and vlogs.[8]
In 2017 she vlogged her Europe tour in her "Indian girl backpacking in Europe" series.[9] She gave a TEDx talk on "How to make YouTube a career?" at Manipal University, Jaipur.[10]
Kumar also starred in The Timeliners web series Engineering Girls in 2018.[11] In November 2018, she launched her own clothing collection in collaboration with StalkBuyLove.[citation needed]
Awards
[edit | edit source]- Kumar won the Best Lifestyle Blogger in Cosmopolitan India Blogger Awards 2019.[12]
- Kumar won the Instagrammer of the Year for Fashion, 2019[13]
