"Run Girl Run" is a 1954 American television play. It was devised as a vehicle for Lee Meriwether who was Miss America.[1]

Reception
[edit | edit source]Variety said Elliott "wrote the piece with Miss Merriwether in mind so the role wasn’t too taxing and showcased as a pleasant if not exciting ingenue. The Miss America prize won her a scholarship to the Pasadena Playhouse and her debut shows she had the material to develop."[1]
The Philadelphia Inquirer said Meriwether was "enormously compelling".[2]
