Rimae Atlas is a Rilles on the Moon.[1][2]

It is 60 km Long,[3] and is separated into 8 parts.

Exploration

It was supposed to be the landing place of the Hakuto-R Mission 1 by ispace, that launched on 11 December 2022. separating from the rocket 47 minutes later at a distance around 970 kilometres (600 mi) away from Earth,[4] it crashed on 16:40 UTC (00:40 JST) on 25 April 2023.[4]
