Pyronia is a genus of butterflies from the subfamily Satyrinae in the family Nymphalidae.
Description
[edit | edit source]These butterflies have vestigial forelegs that cannot be used for walking. Male forelegs exhibit two tarsal joints, while female forelegs have four.[1]
