Pyrausta dapalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Augustus Radcliffe Grote in 1881.[1] It is found in western North America, where it has been recorded from California[2] and Oregon.[3]

The length of the forewings is 7–9.5 mm.[4] Adults have been recorded on wing from early January to March.

The larvae have been reared on various Salvia species.[5]
