Pyramidelloides barbadensis is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Eulimidae. The species is one of a number within the genus Pyramidelloides.[1]
Description
[edit | edit source]The maximum recorded shell length is 1.1 mm.[2]
Habitat
[edit | edit source]Minimum recorded depth is 100 m.[2] Maximum recorded depth is 216 m.[2]
Taxonomy
[edit | edit source]The species was first described by William H. Dall in 1889 from specimens collected in the Caribbean region, specifically near Barbados, which is reflected in its specific epithet "barbadensis".[3]
