Nivas Adithan is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films and TV shows. He has notably played Naanga,[1] Taramani, Kaaka Muttai, Chithiram Pesuthadi 2, Radiopetti, and Regina. Nivas is the son of veteran actor and producer Adithan.
Early life
[edit | edit source]Nivas Adithan was born in Karaikal, Puducherry, India, into a family with a background in the film industry; his father, Adithan, was an actor and producer.[2]
Career
[edit | edit source]He was recommended into acting roles by choreographer Kala Master after a performance on the dance show Maanada Mayilada[3] in 2010. Nivas subsequently made his acting debut in Tamil cinema in Selva's Naanga, playing one of the lead roles.[4]
Nivas also played "behind the scenes" in Ram's Thanga Meenkal. In 2015, he appeared in the critically acclaimed Kaaka Muttai (The Crow's Egg).[5] He also played a supporting role in Radiopetti, which won the KNN Audience award at the 2015 Busan International Film Festival.[6][7]
