Articles for improvement is an initiative of the Wiki Society of the Philippines where members and other interested editors collaborate on improving a selected Philippine-related article every two months.

Goals

This initiative was started in order to do the following goals

• Improve Wikipedia especially articles related to the Philippines
• Foster a sense of collaboration among the group's members
• Maintain a continuously ongoing activity within the group

Current selected article

The selected article for November–December 2025 is Baselines of the Philippines. The article started as a List-class article that only contained a short background section and then a list of coordinates from the enabling Republic Act No. 9522. The article was selected because it could be so much more by discussing the history of how the country adopted the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea including mentioning the first law (Republic Act No. 3046), the Supreme Court case about the law's constitutionality, its submission to the United Nations with reactions and analyses, as well as its effect on ongoing maritime disputes.
