Welcome to the WikiProject Trucks. This is a WikiProject to improve articles on trucks, truckparts and truck manufacturers. Please feel free to edit this page, but discussions should be kept on the talk page of this project.
- Goals
The purpose of this WikiProject is to co-ordinate articles on light, medium and heavy trucks. It aims to improve the coverage of manufacturers and models, and to make articles on trucks uniform and informative.
- Scope
This project proposes to work with all pages related to the type of road or off-road vehicle commonly known as truck or lorry.
Guidelines
[edit source]- We shall strive to follow the Wikipedia:Manual of Style.
- A lot of useful guidelines can be found at our sister Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles.

- Duncan1800 I like lots of different trucks, but I'm based in the USA which limits me somewhat. I do agree about the need for consistency among truck articles and will do what I can to help fix it.

Categories
[edit source]Please use one of the following categories when writing a truck related article.
Stubs
[edit source]Instead of using the standard {{stub}} template, you may want to use one of the following more specific vehicle stub tags, some of which are:
- {{vehicle-stub}} for stubs about general automotive topics. Unfortunately, this category contains many articles, so use of one of the more targeted subcategories is recommended:
- {{truck-stub}} - for stub articles about trucks
- {{van-stub}} - for stub articles about vans
- {{auto-stub}} - for stub articles about sedan delivery vans / car derived vans
- {{motorvehicle-company-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive companies
- {{auto-factory-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive factories
- {{automotive-part-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive parts or components
- {{automotive-tech-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive technologies
- {{road-stub}} - for stub articles about general road transport
