Requested articles (to be created)
[edit source]When creating an article from this list, please try to provide additional information to what the person looking up the topic can be expected to already know. In general, try to start new articles with at least two or three paragraphs, or at least five sentences of main text, and put the article in at least one Category. If you are not familiar with the many Scottish island-related categories, place the new article in Category:Islands of Scotland or Category:Scottish people, so that other Users can re-allocate it to appropriate sub-categories.
It is probably a very good idea to allocate a stub category to every new article, at least until one or two other editors have contributed, see the Scotland stubs section below. Articles related to Orkney and Shetland can be found at Orkney stubs & Shetland stubs respectively.
Some also prefer that you provide a reference pointing to the source of the information, otherwise it may be swiftly deleted for being unverified.

Other islands
[edit source]These five islands Marilyns are listed elsewhere in the Southern Highlands list or Lowlands list, as they are conventionally grouped with the other Marilyns in those lists. For completeness, however, they have been duplicated below.

[edit source]- Sgurr Dubh Mòr (944 m)
- Sgurr nan Eag (924 m)
Notes
[edit source]^Note 1 : Corra-bheinn and Cruachan Dearg both have a height of 704 m and are separated by a drop of 130 m. They are collectively separated from Beinn Talaidh (their parent) by a 316 m drop making one of them a Marilyn and a Graham. However, without more accurate heights, it is impossible to say which is the Marilyn, making them an example of a twin peak. By convention, Corra-bheinn is considered to by the Marilyn and Graham because it is the peak with the trig point.[1]
^Note 2 : Beinn Bhragair has been discovered to be a Marilyn since the publication of The Relative Hills of Britain and is therefore not listed in the book.[2]
