- Welcome to the Scottish Gaelic task force of WikiProject Scotland.
Scope
[edit source]- This task force is aimed at improving articles regarding the Scottish Gaelic language, and articles relating to the use of Gaelic throughout the world in the government, media, schools and more. It also aims to improve articles that deal with the history of the language and those who use it. Amongst other things, we will endeavour to do so by increasing the number of Good Article and Featured articles.
- It also aims to provide a forum for debate to settle Scottish Gaelic-related Wikipedia policies and to keep an eye out for neutrality disputes concerning various Gaelic-related matters.

- Review importance and quality of existing articles
- Conduct quality assessments for articles which have not been assessed (see guidelines below)
- Marking links to external Gaelic sites with {{in lang|gd}} to produce (in Scottish Gaelic)
- Make links for articles from the Gaelic wikipedia which have not yet been linked.
Quality assessment
[edit source]This task force has an assessment section dedicated to article assessment of Scottish Gaelic related articles. The task force is currently considering the assessment process that will be used for this task force. You can contribute to this on the talk page.
