WikiProject Patna is a project that was launched on 12 September 2008 by Be.human, aims primarily to create, fill out, build, edit, construct, and modify articles about Patna and Greater Patna Region. Patna is one of the oldest city of world and has many places of interest, significant events and interesting people that have helped form the unique character and style of the city.
As of 28 June 2026, there are 435 articles within the scope of WikiProject Patna, of which 10 are featured and 6 are good articles. This makes up 0% of the articles on Wikipedia, 0.09% of all featured articles and lists, and 0.01% of all good articles. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etc., there are 1,338 pages in the project.

DivisionsScope
[edit source]{{Wikipedia:WikiProject Patna/Navigation}} The scope of this article fundamentally is loosely defined as all articles and sections relating to Greater Patna Region/Patna Metropolitan Region(Sonpur, Maner, Danapur, Paliganj, Hajipur, Khagaul, Patna and Bihta) and Patna district. Almost all of these will be (eventually) categorised under Category:Patna, Category:Patna district, Category:Bihar and Category:India.

Parentage
[edit source]The parents of this WikiProject are WikiProject Cities, and WikiProject India whose relevance is somewhat limited vis-a-vis documenting a single very large city and the many communities within it.
At a state level, the parent of this project is WikiProject Bihar.
GoalsGoals
[edit source]This WikiProject aims to help organize and contribute to the growing collection of articles about Patna.
This can be achieved by:
- Develop: Improve and maintain articles that are on the worklist, cleanup list, or requested on the project talk page.
- Coordinate:
- Tag all Patna-relevant articles with {{WikiProject India}}, and assess and prioritize articles missing assessment or importance values.
- Categorize Patna related articles, including with stub tags and navigation boxes.
- Support: Invite more users to join with {{subst:WikiProject Patna invitation}} and assist them whenever possible.
