• Handel's Berenice, based on the life of Berenice III of Egypt, lacks a synopsis and we lack an article for Maria Caterina Negri who created the role of Arsace.

• Gomes's Maria Tudor, based on the life of Mary Tudor, Queen of France
• Mercadante's Nitocri, based on the life of Nitocris
