This page is part of the WikiProject on Handball and provides a list of known fully professional leagues, and also those that are known to not be fully professional. As such this article can be used as an aid in considering the WP:HB guideline, under its criteria as noted below. Leagues in italics are defunct.
International leagues
[edit source]The following current and historical leagues are considered "international leagues" or the "highest level of competition extant" for the purpose of satisfying Criteria #1:

Lower-level leagues
[edit source]The following current and historical leagues are considered to be either a "lower minor league," a "major junior league" or a "major collegiate league" – or at the skill level of the same – for the purpose of satisfying Criterion #4.

Those leagues not otherwise listed are considered to confer no presumptive notability to players, coaches, officials or executives, and articles about the same must explicitly demonstrate notability under the provisions of WP:GNG, WP:BIO or other valid notability criteria.
