Description

A WikiProject to track the work of online encyclopedias that claim to be alternatives to Wikipedia (e.g.: Citizendium and Scholarpedia to name those I am aware of). The goal of the project would be to identify ways to improve WP articles following a comparative evaluation of quality corresponding articles (assuming there is something to improve of course). Ultimately, once we have found a good way of doing this and if we are satisfied with initial results, the job could be distributed among the various WikiProjects willing to participate. Mathieugp (talk) 20:58, 2 October 2010 (UTC) -- I could help with starting up the project, but the real work would be done through some sort of a peer review process I guess.

Discussion

You might consider some of the existing projects, like WP:WikiProject Internet culture or WP:WikiProject Websites, but yo'e probably looking for Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks, rather than a WikiProject. WhatamIdoing (talk) 22:35, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
