Discussion

I've drawn up a rough project page, and I've also created a few templates. Here's a possible banner:

Project Description

This would be a project encompassing articles related to Bob Dylan - his works (i.e. songs, albums, books), and his life (pages such as the Electric Dylan Controversy). Dylan needs a WP - if you were to measure how many articles there are to manage by taking a look at "categories", you'd find:

• 53 articles in "Category:Bob Dylan"
• 205 articles in the "Category:Bob Dylan songs"
• 67 articles in the "Category:Bob Dylan albums"
• 160 articles in the "Category:Songs written by Bob Dylan"
• 5 articles in the "Category:Bob Dylan concert tours"
• 2 "Category:Films directed by Bob Dylan"'
• 4 articles in the "Category:Books by Bob Dylan"

Frankly, I'm surprised someone hasn't suggested this sooner - Dylan is an extremely important figure in popular music (in fact, in songwriting and music itself). He is arguably a more influential figure then some other artist who have currently thriving WPs, namely The Beatles.

The scope of the project would be articles about Bob Dylan and his work, and people and things directly related to - or who have achieved a significant part of their notability through their connection to - Bob Dylan.

1. To Improve all articles relating to Bob Dylan
2. To tag all Dylan articles
3. To Categorize all Bob Dylan articles
4. To create articles to fill in gaps in Bob Dylan's coverage on Wikipedia

And, specifically,

1. Unify and improve articles about albums
2. Unify and improve articles about Bob Dylan
3. Unify and improve song articles
