Why do you want to start a new group, instead of joining one of these existing groups?

The Awake WikiProject will help cover the Awake series better. It will contain all the episodes, and maybe even articles on characters (most likely Micheal Britten). Although the show has been cancelled, this can still work. There is also a portal. Thanks.

  • This could work as a task force because... Projects had been active but later slowed down, such as WP:Stargate. --George Ho (talk) 07:18, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
  • Yeah, I'm not sure about how this would last in the long term, since we are the only ones editing for the articles, but for right now its pretty good. I would add the people who are involved in the production of Awake, too, like the main actors and Kyle Killen, for example (I'm not sure about Michaela McManus, though, she only appeared in 2 episodes, haha).   • I don't oppose the creation of a WikiProject, but my recommendation would be to create a task force associated with WikiProject Television. This would require less maintenance. Also, there are a very limited number of articles that would fall under WikiProject Awake's short-lived umbrella since the series has been cancelled. If a group of dedicated, constructive, collaborative editors are determined to get all Awake-related articles to GA/FA/FL status, I say go forth and conquer!... just know this can be accomplished without construction of a WikiProject.   • Oppose. per above. A page for the list of episodes doesn't need creating yet as it doesn't come close to anything prescribed by MOS:TV, WP:SIZESPLIT, WP:SIZE. Awake (TV series) isn't near it's size limit right now. At best you can get the main series article, a list of episodes article, 13 articles for each episode, 8 articles for each main character, and 1 article for a list of characters including the recurrings. It's too small to need an entire project, especially when the series has been cancelled. Is WP:TV not good enough? Matthewedwards (talk · contribs) 04:15, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
  • Oppose. Awake was cancelled after only one season, and the only articles that seem to relate to the topic are only the show, episodes, and characters; nothing to do with the impact it had on people, probably because there was not that little considering it didn't last that long.
