Guidelines

[edit source]Annual LLWS articles should use {{Infobox LLWS}}. See the Infobox section on applicable flags as well as standards thereof.
Beginning of annual LLWS articles
[edit source]The following text will begin each article:
- The (year) Little League World Series was held between (start date) and (end date) in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The (winning team) of (winning team's city) defeated (runner-up) of (runner-up's city) in the championship game of the (ordinal number) Little League World Series.
Trivia
[edit source]Any interesting facts about that year's LLWS must be inserted here. An example would be if a future Major League Baseball player participated.
Qualification
[edit source]- The templates {{Infobox LLWSQualifiers}} and {{Infobox LLWSQualifiers-Pre2001}} should be used. See the Infobox section on applicable flags as well as standards thereof.
- The template {{mainarticle|Qualification for the XXXX Little League World Series}} will be placed above any other text. This rule currently applies to all LLWS tournaments played after 2001.
Winners/Championship Bracket
[edit source]Use {{Round4-with third}} for the winners/championship bracket. Enter information as seen on the front page of the LLWS summary located at the website below.
Consolation/Position Bracket
[edit source]The same bracket as above must be used, and the information entered in the same manner as above.
Miscellaneous
[edit source]The spellings of Taiwanese municiplaities differ between Wikipedia and the LL website. Consult Category:Cities in Taiwan as a starting point to clear up any spelling discrepancies.
Bracket templates

For the above parameters, here's what you should fill in.
- Year: The year this particular LLWS was held
- Start_date: The date pool play began (please wikify)
- End_date: The date the championship game was played (please wikify)
- Teams_participated: The number of teams that participated in this LLWS (16 since 2001, 8 from 1948 to 1974 and 1976 to 2000, 4 in 1975, 12 in 1947)
- Champion: The winner of the championship game, preceded by flag of country
- Runnerup: The loser of the championship game, preceded by flag of country
- NB: For US teams, put United States immediately before the state's flag. For Canadian teams, put Canada immediately before the province's flag, except in the brackets; only the Canadian flag should be used.
By completing the infobox as follows, you'll get an infobox like the one to the right.
