Some Wikipedians have formed a project to improve organisation and standardised look and feel of articles related to the Indian state of Assam.

Goals

To create articles for uncovered topics and produce as many Assam-related Featured Articles as possible.

If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and look at the to-do list.

Scope

The scope of this WikiProject is the set of all Assam-related articles and sections, currently included in Category:WikiProject Assam. You may tag articles to the WikiProject Assam scope by adding {{WPASM}} on top of the talk-page.

  4. Articles about people, climate, environment, literature, eminent personalities.
  5. Improving articles about ancient kingdoms like Kamata kingdom, Kamarupa, Ahom kingdom, citing Assamese texts, pictures, references. Also add other kingdoms like Sutiya, Kachari, Baro Bhuyans etc..
  6. Improving contents of Portal:Assam and similar projects.
