The July 2021 AfC Backlog Drive is now over. Thank you all for participating! We had an amazing drive, starting from a staggering backlog of over four thousand drafts and completely clearing it by the end of the month. You can view the list of drive participants. Re-reviews will run for another two weeks, and then awards will be distributed. Also feel free to stop by the ongoing WT:WPAFC discussion on rules/etc for the next drive. Scoring system
[edit source]Scoring:
- Reviews get 1 point.
- Reviews of drafts that had been waiting more than 30 days instead get 1.5 points.
- Reviews that fail a re-review instead count as -1 point.
- Conducting a re-review gets 1 point.
- Bonus of 3 points for improving a draft that would have clearly been declined and then accepting it. (You must manually list these in a "Bonus" level-2 section.)
Re-reviews:
- For any disagreements, go to the backlog drive talk page.
- It is recommended that each participant have had at least 10% of their reviews (or 3 reviews, whichever is more) re-reviewed.
- It is recommended that each participant have conducted a number of re-reviews greater than 10% of their number of reviews.

Reviewing Reviews

To ensure quality, users should re-review other user's reviews. Any user may re-review any other user's reviews if they wish.
Review logs are subpages of the Participants page. To re-review a review, respond to the review like you would on a talk page, writing Pass or Fail with an optional comment, and then sign. For example, if a review looked like this in the code:

And you decided to pass it, you would write:

Explanation of the format used on the page: A, D, R for accept, decline, reject, with the reason codes (for example, "nn" for WP:GNG, full list) for declines/rejects in parentheses, then a link to the diff of the review labelled with the current title, then the number of days that the draft waited for a review. (We use that for bonus calculation.)
Moreover, you can write Invalid if the bot made a mistake - for example, counting the same review twice, which can happen if, say, the script edit-conflicted with itself - or Comment to leave a comment.
Re-reviews are tracked at a dedicated leaderboard. If you do 25 or more re-reviews, you get the Teamwork Barnstar.
You can also track bonuses manually, if you want: at the bottom of your own page, create a "Bonus" level-2 section and list the drafts that would've been a decline, and that you improved until they could be accepted. (More bonuses to be added later?)

The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running until 31 July 2021.
