The 2013 January AFC Backlog Elimination Drive will take place from January 1st, 2013 to Febuary 1st, 2013. Before joining this elimination drive, please make sure you have read through this entire page. If you have questions about the information on that page an/or unsure about some info, please do not join this drive until you fully understand everything. If you have any questions, please leave a message on this page's talk page or Mdann52's talk page.
How to help
[edit source]Before joining this drive and start to review articles, please make sure you have read this page and have no questions. To join this drive, please add your name under to the "Totals" section below after you have reviewed at least one article. All reviews must be started after 00:00 (UTC) on January 1, 2013 and before 23:59 (UTC) on Febuary 1st, 2013. Reviews started outside of those parameters do not count.
To find an article to review for creation, go to this page. If you see that an article in the submission page that has previously been declined by another reviewer, you may still review the article for a point.

Running Total
[edit source]For reviews during the drive to count as a "point", you must log each and every article that you have reviewed below. To log articles, use the following template and include it below the "Totals" section. Please note that when inserting the URL and the article name, remember to leave a space between the two.
Because submissions can be reviewed more than once, when you have completed a review, please provide a link to the "oldid" of the accept or decline edit you made. To find the "oldid" of an article, go to the article/submission's history page (the tab can be found to the right of the "edit" tab). Once there, click on the edit that you made when you passed or failed the article. Copy the URL and place it under your name using the template below.
Use the folling box to create a subpage, replacing user with your username : -

Reviewing Reviews

To ensure quality remains priority, reviews of reviews will be conducted at random times. If a review is found to be not done properly or done poorly, the review will be deducted 1 point. Any user may review other user's reviews if they wish.
If you pass a review, include the word "Pass" along with your user signature.(only three not four tildes here).
If you fail a review, include the word "Fail" along with your user signature. If a review is failed a third user shall review the same article and either pass or fail the article. If both reviewers fail the review, add a colon ( : ) in front of the number ( # ) symbol. At this point two will agree. The secondary reviewer who agrees with the original reviewer will receive a point, the secondary reviewer who disagrees with the other two will not receive any points.
If an article is deleted after the initial reviewer passed the article, 1 point is deducted.
To mark a review reviewed, beside the entry, included either "Pass" or "Fail" along with your user signature (only three not four tildes here).

Any user who includes their name below and reviews at least 25 reviews from any other user participating in the drive will receive the Teamwork Barnstar.
Please note that if there are a lack of reviewers, distribution of awards at the end of the drive will be delayed until most of the reviews are reviewed.

WikiProject AFC is holding a one month long Backlog Elimination Drive!
The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running from March 1st, 2013 – March 31st, 2013.
Awards will be given out for all reviewers participating in the drive in the form of barnstars at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 2000 articles, so start reviewing articles! Visit the drive's page and help out!
