Hi, I am attempting to post this article below regarding nir technology used in dillonoptics. Is this correct or am I missing something.

NIR “Non Image Reflecting” technology has been developed and brought to the market place as a sunglass lens by DillonOptics. The first NIR lenses from Dillon Optics have been produced as Polarized Diffuse Reflecting Lenses also referred to as NIR polarized. The Dillon NIR lenses have been described as satin, matte, matte mirror and as a dull finish lens. The NIR lenses provide eye protection from the Sun by blocking 100% of harmful UV Rays “Ultra Violet Light”. The NIR optics are available from Dillon in an ever growing variety of frame styles.
NIR polarized SunGlasses are a premium protective eyewear that reduces internal reflections within the lens. Because of the reduced internal reflections these sunglasses can be worn more comfortably in reduced light settings such as indoors. No other sunglasses can match Dillon Optics NIR Lens Technology.

This is not appropriate material for Wikipedia. It is far too promotional. Your submission also does not appear to provide any sources.
Wikipedia already has a detailed article on non-reflective sunglasses (amongst similar topics) at Anti-reflective coating.
There may be a justification for submitting an article about the company "Dillonoptics", if that's what it is called, but only if the company itself has received significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources. Greetings -

The article was rejected as there was not enough reference information. I visited the Joe E. White Library and found many news articles covering his life. The news article copies are in JPEG format.

How do I upload the reference information (from a JPEG to the article?).

Will this reference work? (#3 in the article) ^ "Website: Dr. White Inducted Into Hall Of Fame".

It is not obligatory that references be in English, nor that they be available online. If you use physical references that aren't online, make sure your footnote is explicit as to publication, date, page, title, etc. So not "New York times 6/14/93" but instead "JE White Wins it Again!. New York Times, June 14 1993, pg B3". Makes sense?
Also, it's not necessary to say "book", "website", etc. in your footnotes.
Important: You are confusing bolding, WP:wikilinks and WP:Footnotes. Footnotes are not for "hey, here's more info about the American Association of School Administrators!", for that you simply put double-brackets around the word (and don't bold it) like so: [[American Association of School Administrators]] which results in Chicago Council on Global Affairs.
All footnotes should be specifically "here is an article/page/etc which proves the claim I just made about White". If a given link, site, etc. does not explicitly state some fact about White and thus verify the sentence you put the footnote next to, then it should not be a footnote.

Hello - I am relatively new to Wikipedia so please accept my apologies if I am going about this in the wrong manner.

It has been a humbling experience attempting to create a Wikipedia page concerning my work as a classical guitarist and composer. It appears that I am having trouble proving my notability on Wikipedia and yet I've performed in New Zealand and in other countries, other guitarists are now playing my music and my work is regularly broadcast by Radio New Zealand.

I am aware of another New Zealand guitarist who is already listed on Wikipedia. I am trying to understand the difference between his listing and what I have submitted. His listing has no external references, a list of his qualifications, CDs and a link to the University where he studied and one other external link to his own web site.

In my article, I have included a link to my own web site and others such as the NZ Composer's web site SOUNZ. Would I be better off removing all the references that I have chosen and would it help if I included a list of my compositions for guitar? One of my compositions was accepted by the Trinity Collage of London as suitable FTCL Diploma repertoire. I cannot verify that via independent references but I happen to know the guitarist who was allowed to play my composition during his FTCL exam.

I will continue reading the guidelines for proving notability but would welcome some pointers that might help me better understand why my article is not yet acceptable.

Hi Bruce. By coincidence I accepted an article submission on another Antipodean classical guitarist only yesterday - Marc Ongley. Now, that article is still far from perfect. For example, it should not be throwing around peacock terms like "renowned", and also the use of who Ongley has been taught by or taught with, as proof of his importance, is inappropriate. (Because notability on Wikipedia is Wikipedia:NOTINHERITED.)
However, the article may give you a useful point of comparison as to what level of coverage is required for an article about a musician to be appropriate. Just one review of a performance is not sufficient; but detailed press coverage in newspapers of wide circulation, over a long period of time (as in Ongley's case) is sufficient. It's worth pointing out that just being a musician, and having given performances, being broadcast etc., is not sufficient for notability by Wikipedia's standards.
